Testing Procedures To Enter Singapore

Pet must have a blood sample taken at least 30 days after the rabies vaccination and at least The results of the blood test must show that the vaccination was successful (rabies antibody level of at least 0.5 IU/ml). Titer test sample must be drawn at least 6 months before entering Singapore. Pets must also be treated against internal and external parasites within two to seven days before travelling to Singapore.

Pet Quarantine Policy in Singapore

Pet’s must serve a mandatory quarantine period of 30 days when landing in Singapore. All pets entering Singapore are quarantined at the Sembawang Animal Quarantine Station. Reservations for quarantine must be made at least 3 moths before your planned date of entry.

Banned Breeds in Singapore

Singapore has certain breed-specific legislation which prevents them from travelling into the country. The following breeds of dog and any crossbreed puppies are banned in Singapore: Pit Bulls, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bulldog, Akita, Boerboel, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa, Neapolitan Mastiff, Perro de Presa Canario.

**Note: There are certain protected species which fall under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). If your pet is not a household animal, i.e., a dog or a cat, check and verify whether or not they are on the protected or endangered list. If so, you will require further permits for your move.
