To relocate your pet by train, you will need to reserve a First-Class A/C compartment through Indian Railways. This is the only class where pets are officially allowed to travel with their owners. Booking must be done in person at the station with the station master, and the compartment must be reserved entirely for you and your pet(s). You, or someone you trust, must accompany your pet for the entire journey.
